I'm down to about a pound of massivore...which should last about a week. If the sample works out, I'll be placing an order shortly. How soon will you guys have more? I'd most likely take 3 buckets or so.

Mike makes a good point, some fish are going to require a nudge in the right direction before accepting a new food. The results that I'm seeing/hearing locally has been very good. So far all pbass that have been offered these 10mm have nailed them hard, and eaten them eagerly on the first feeding. Larger catfish (giraffes & a tigrinus) & plecos have taken to them right out of the gate, and several stingrays also ate them straight away. (a few rays did not)
An exCichlasoma bocourti is also eating them.

A lot of this will depend on the size of the fish that are being fed.

We will have them shortly... A few day turn around is all we need. So have to fear. If you want three let us know. If you want to preorder let us know as well. We are about to put in another order anyways. We try to only buy what we need so that it will not sit. Freshest sent out that way.

I'll have some to try next weekend with my Bichirs and Cichlids. I'll report back on how they like it. I will be coming back with the food after being gone a few days so they should all be hungry.

I'd like to request a sample please, pay pal enroute

Got it!

I got my sample 2 days ago. Unfortunately pbass are not taking them.
I find an issue with these pellet. After I soak them in water for a good 30 min, they are still hard like rock. I don't see how pbass are going to swallow them like this. Is there special feeding instruction? thanks.

Posted previously .....

A couple of things to note for those of you that plan on giving the NLS 10mm a test drive. The 10mm is not only large, but due to the low inclusion rate of starch/carbs it will be a very firm pellet, and will not soak up water like a sponge. (as some foods do)
This may affect palatability with smaller specimens, and may even require some training for larger specimens.

On the plus side it will not easily fall apart in your tank, on the negative side (if you can call it that?) it will most likely only be readily consumed by those fish which are large enough to swallow it whole. Do not expect a 7" oscar to readily consume this formula, it's designed for BIG fish, with big mouths & strong jaws.

HTH

The people that I know that have tested it out on their pbass have had no issues, one MFK member stated that his tememsis sucked the pellets back like they were M&M's.

What size are your pbass?
