I agree with the comments posted, and yes there is a reason they are the most common, they're great fish to keep. Keep what you like and enjoy. GTs and JDs are still among my favorites and I will probebly always own one. I'll go as far as to say IMO a Gold Saum GT is the most beautiful fresh water in the world. Angel fish and Discus have always been favorites of mine also and always will be, their beauty and grace in a planted can't be beat.
