Cichlids. Why not?- they sound like they are very hard to keep healthy. Like there's a magic trick to being able to raise them. That, and I don't know if I could watch fish that bully eachother. Wouldn't be relaxing to watch the tank, if they were after each other constantly.

Cichlids (in general) are not hard to keep healthy at all. Not all of them are glassbanging killer either. Some of the more aggressive fish are more kept for personality in a species only setting. They are very intereactive with their owners.

Neon Tetra!
always wanted a school of this kind of fish but can't seem to find a tank for them. all of my tanks are occupied by snakeheads, catfish and tilapias but soon! ill get a tank running for a school of neon tetras

Firemouths, Jaguars, Clownloaches. I would say discus too but im waiting on my order as of now. But the one thing I want more than any other common fish is my 14" BGk back, by far my most favorite fish I kept.

Have been interested in Denison's Barbs for some time and finally bought five yesterday.

Haha, it sounds like you all are describing my setup.

Oscar, Royal Clown Knife, Iniridae Severum, Tiger Shovelnose, Port Cichlid, Ornate Bichir, Giant Gourami, Fire Eel, and I just got rid of a big L330 and Blue Phantom because I just couldn't keep up with the wood waste and I also recently gave away a big Atabapo II Pike.

As far as non-common fish go, I also have a totally awesome, spunky Granulosus, a Marbled Sailfin cat and another rare looking catfish with a cool leopard-looking pattern(not sure what it is). All of these fish except for the Port Cichlid and the Granulosus, which are both fully grown, are giants. Several have a lot of growing to do but they are not small fish by any means.

But for the most part, it seems like I've selected nothing but the "classics". :headbang2
