Common Snapper x Alligator Snapping Turtle??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It'll be interesting to see if a new bear species emerges based on changes in the north. Hybrid polar/grizzly bears have popped up thanks to the polars moving south due to decrease and break up of ice.

Still hope Polor Bears will live even outside there natrual habitat and thrive :)

What else is in the genus of common snappers? i have to still wait i cant tell the sex of my snapper...

I'm not going to say that it wouldnt be cool to see the two sets of traits merge in one turtle, but this is not something that you should attempt. If it were as easy as dropping a male and a female in an enclosure together than they would already be available because they would sell like crazy.

^i know that am going to go by trial and error. if any agression starts ill remove them. hopefully after introducing them so many times they might breed.

Northern Snappers I believe

No such thing.

Common snappers (Chelydra serpentina) share a genus with Florida snappers (Chelydra serpentina osceola) and Central American snapping turtles (Chelydra rossignonii). The Central Americans were previously considered a subspecies of I believe the common snapper, but it may have been the Florida.

I'm just worried about how many turtles you are buying. I mean you are 14.

Snappers must be kept alone and each need at least 300G.

i have 3 ponds each barley stocked. this summer i plan on building a wels catfish pond and am going to section off parts of the pond for the snappers ill have atleast 3 spaces sectioned off
