well its not to bad cus u can actually make a really nice looking tank, My dad used to have a sick set up if i can find some pics of it i'll post em. But basically for a nice looking set up u can grab a nice looking pleco, stripped raphael catfish, a school of neon tetras because they do better in schools so 6+, a betta just make sure its a female cus some male ones will mistake colorful fish for other male bettas, some sunset platys, glowlight tetras but u need a school of them because they do better in schools of 6+,neon blue gouarmi and dwarf gourami look really good in a tank. Also if u can plant it well.
Heres a set up for a 55 that would look good imo, 6 neon tetras, 2 dwarf gouarmis, 2 neon dwarf gouramis, a female betta, nice looking pleco, couple fancy tail guppies, and a stripped or spotted raphael catfish. For plants a piece of driftwood covered in Glossotigma Elatinoides and Java Moss looks incredible in a tank if u can get a couple of them heck even 1, heres a link of 1 for sale with pic on it
