CICHLA BAHIA KELBERI!!!!!!!!!!

a oscar would be cool

Cichla has been done to my knowledge. We are trying to come up with something not already done.

I say do some fish that you see come up alot...I think either a Festae (if male be in the breeding barred color see below), Dovi, umbie. Only thing with the festae idea is it may be hard to tell what it is if its in black and white...dunno.

That's the nicest male festae I've ever seen. :)

I know technically cichla fit the CA/SA cichlid bill, but since this is specifically on the CA/SA section that is separated from discus/angels, crenicichla and cichla, are we going to exclude or include those?

IMO we should exclude since Africans are applicable to the same and we are not including those for this design.

I dont think there is a single fish that has changed the hobby and defines monster status like the Dovii has.

Sure there are bigger and possibly equal aggressors but probably none of which have become synonymous with MONSTER to the fish & non-fish keeping public like the dovii has.

That fish alone is probably responsible for 1/3 of the membership here and was most likely the fish that made most go in search of a smaller alternative.

If you keep a dovii appropriately, you define Monster Fish Keeping.

Nope...A cichla T has not been made yet. If there was I would already have a few. There was an 09 socal meet t...that had a bass on it. But its not a MFK t...its a meet T. And thats kinda poser to get the T w/out going to the meet.

A cichla T is much needed :)

Microgeophagus ramirezi :)

No, but really it should be either a Dovii or a male Carpintis in breeding dress
