Only had them for almost 24hours. Was told on another site it looks like a hybrid. Do you agree?

I would wait a week or longer. It takes awhile to get settled in. I think it looks like a pure p. Mel but can't be 100% until it is adjusted to its environment. Have anymore pics?

Alright thanks. Don't have any more pics at the moment. Looks the same today Blues look a bit more vibrant. Will be excited to see once settled in
 
They told me this one was a male they had a female in another tank that looked the same roughly a tiny bit smaller was thinking of getting her and seeing if any breeding happened but kinda didn't as was worried they may of been brother and sister

The one you have maybe a male w/ the blue eyes. I wouldn't worry about them being related and breeding. Fish can inbreed through many generations w/ out problems. In fact some of my nicest HRPs were several gens related.

what do you feed yours, mine seems eager to eat, it did try a bit of massivore but spat it back out (that was on the second day)

Thanks mine loves algae wafers. Keep him in a veggie diet. That might help w/ the color. He also loves peas and lettuce. Mine looked washed out when I was just feeding him pellets.
