would these fish be able to live in a 75 for life together.
3-firemouth
1-oscar
1-JD
1-green terror

if so could i add more or is that the limit.

You might get lucky, but I think you'll end up with territory problems/dead firemouths.

thanks for the quick response. so if i didnt get the firemouths would i be able to get anthing else?

ok change of plans
2 JD
2 GT
3 Firemouth
i droped the oscar and added 2 fish

That looks much worse actually.. I believe you would have done much better with the first plan.. LOL... Personal opinion of course..

2 Jd's are ten times worse than one oscar and one jd... At least then the rest of the fish have a chance.. But my JD's were scored because they killed an 18" show quality Clown Knife and the next week they demolished a red ear slider... ONce again POP

yeah the firemouths would end up dead..and the o should hold up but may be stressed...

You could try 1 of each. 1GT 1JD and 1O. Make sure that the O is larger than the other two by a little, and that the GT is larger than the JD. If you don't have "pairs" then they'll have less reason to harass the Oscar. I'd have a 4" Oscar, 2.5" GT and a 2" Dempsey. Give the Dempsey a cave in the corner and he should grow up peacefully so long as nobody takes his cave. Just remember, that even though it will take a while for the GT and JD to reach their full size, those three could be quite a handful in a 75 after everyone is over 8".

None of the mixes we give you will be foolproof, but this gives you the opportunity to keep three of the four fish you had mentioned, with less chance of a death. Just make sure that the GT is larger than the JD. Female Jd may be best.
