To the OP; do a fresh install. Although very similar, windows vista and windows seven differ on some key aspects such as hardware management. You will almost always run into problems trying to upgrade.

Im trying to burn CD's but it seems that my CD/DVD R wont burn. I am trying to install the CD/DVD R driver. It can read CD's but I cant burn music onto them.

yeah a system that works .....something that is not the case for windows 1,2, 7 or 2457....and I know because I used to own a PC up until 3 yrs. ago....how about you ? did you ever worked on a Mac or you just like to hear yourself talking ?

In our industry we get some major problems with Macs. I love them too, but you can love something and still see its flaws in the business world. Nothings perfect. Anyways, enough of that, their must be a million threads on that battle. Good luck OP.
 
Good luck when you need to send your mac in for service, may take 3-4weeks and cost a sh1t load. I can fix a pc in a couple hours.

I had one problem with my Mac in 3 yrs.....went to the Mac store and they fix it in 30 min. You better know how to repair a PC because it needs alot of that...all the time.
