yeah a system that works .....something that is not the case for windows 1,2, 7 or 2457....and I know because I used to own a PC up until 3 yrs. ago....how about you ? did you ever worked on a Mac or you just like to hear yourself talking ?

You better know how to repair a PC because it needs alot of that...all the time.

First of all a mac IS a P.C. Second; windows works perfectly if you know how to use it and how to take care of it. Buy a mac for 2 grand. I'll get a windows machine with the same hardware for 500 bucks.

But back to the OP's problems. If you post the model number of your laptop I'll try to find the proper drivers for you.

Hi I just recently installed Windows 7 on my laptop that is 1 year and a half old. The previous operating system was Windows Vista. After installing it I tried installing the drivers and it wouldnt work. When I unzip the files for the drivers it tells me that I dont have the right driver for this system. What do you guys think it is?

Sometimes it works, try using compatibility mode with it set for XP sp2, then try it with Vista.

Also it seems you said you do have 64 bit. try running it in different program folders such as the plain program folders then program folders (x86) and programs folders(x86)(x86).

These methods have worked for me before.
