To me it soundls ike you're comp is over heating. Either that or the power supply is faulty.

If its a software problem, then its spyware or a trojan. Try having your computer
scanned online at trendmicro to see if you have a trojan horse.

As for hardware, it could be a overheated power supply like someone said . You didnt do anything unusual before the reboot like upgrade your bios right?

The one time I had problems with over heating it turned out just to be cat fur blocking the vents. Those little fans do wear out though, they are not expensive and easy to replace.

if you can get it to reboot in safe mode go tosearch window and type scan disc then run a window scan disk check
