Once they get large enough to see abit of color (or about 5 days, whichever comes first), I'm going to be siphoning them out and putting them into a 20g-long grow out. I'll keep the best couple (I'm thinking 3 or 4) and selling what I can to a LFS who I've already talked to. .50cents per fry, up to 50. So I figure I can atleast make $25, or $40 in-store credit. The rest will, unfortunately, have to be culled, or given away. I might also keep 4 or 5 for a pond my parents are considering buildin in the front yard.
I would. That oscar I posted would be the "garbage disposal". He's about 13'' and a fry-eating machine.
hey congrats on the babies. and i am thinking i am going to make a trip to the oyers and see what they have.
Do they carry american cichlids aswell? On thier website they only carry africans which is a bit of a bummer.
I'm fairly sure they have New World cichlids. I'm not 100%, but from what I know of the Oyers, they have everything you want in the way of Cichlids, and I imagine that means N/W also.
