I think I'm going to go ahead try out the hornwort for a floating plant. One of the lfs in my area sells hornwort so I can pick it up whenever. Is there any risk with putting live plants directly into the aquarium?
Yes snails or other hitchhikers. Is there any risk with putting live plants directly into the aquarium?
From what I've seen their live plants are always separated from the rest of the tanks, but I'll be sure to ask. I'd definitely recommend checking them out if you ever find yourself in North Jersey. Basically have been going there since I was a toddler. It's an awesome store especially if you lean more towards saltwater.Haven’t been there, but know there’s plenty of great reviews. Most disease issues are removed if the plants are kept in a different system from the fish. As for the hitchhikers, there really isn’t much wrong with them imo. Better to have more organisms on cleanup + free food.
