I’m planning on putting them in the back of the tank behind the lids. I think I can place them where the leaves will stay dry and the roots will be able to drop down into the back of the tank. I think it will make for a pretty cool affect, looking like the fake pothos in the tank are growing out of the back. And as small bonus, everything I read suggests they’re excellent nitrate removers.
Pic from a few days ago, probably one of my favorites too. I realized that maybe a week or two ago marked my first full year in this hobby, or at least full year keeping the cichlids. Made a few small mistakes, most likely gonna make some more, but I think I’ve learned A LOT so far. Still very very little though compared to some fellow members that have been doing this longer than I’ve been alive. Going to continue to keep things as simple as possible with this 75. I tend to dive head first into new obsessions, just have to resist!
