Conan the Barbarian vs Conan the Barbarian new

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The smaller Conan doesn't bother me, but I've seen previews and it looks boring.

I'm going to go buy Paul today on DVD.

While he is not as big as Arnold was,I think this guy is a bit taller....I don't see why they felt the need to do a remake when this movie could have another of Conan's many adventures instead.

HES JUST SO TINY COMPARED TO ARNOLD. but yeah i never thought of tripple H

Not even Kevin Sorbo?

i think kevin sorbo did ok as hercules in the tv show. but i wouldn't pick him as the role in a serious Hercules movie

so no, for me, kevin sorbo would not fit the role as conan

and i haven't looked into this movie yet. is this a remake of Conan the Barbarian? or is it a movie about another one of his adventures or something. because if this is a remake, that would be absolutely stupid. you'd think the sky would be the limit on making a conan movie, why the hell make a remake?

speaking of which, i hate how they make comic book character movies, but they keep bringing back the same villain in the sequals! (for example fantastic 4, they brought back Dr. Doom and Spiderman should've moved away from Goblin already) WHY??? there is so many things to choose from, why bring back the same damn guy when there are so many more awesome villains to choose from???

The Kevin Sorbo reference was intended as a joke.I never cared for none of the sword and sorcery stuff from that era...Hecules,Zena and so forth...From what I've read and from what is shown on the trailers, this film is a remake of the first one....pointless.

You would really get a sense of how Triple H would be if you saw the clip of him and the costume he wore as he came out to the ring during one of the last few Wrestlemanias..I'm not good at pulling images and links so maybe someone could work their magic just for the sake of conversation here....Eddie is really good with that stuff but he has not chimed in yet.

what the? eddie? no mention of me? i'm hurt by that

but here, is this the pic you were referring to? I actually think as far as looks go, Triple H would be a good choice if he can act on screen. he's got neanderthal look to him. lol at the huge friggin hammer in one hand and the water bottle in the other

they actualy aproched him for it
The IESB caught up with wrestler-actor Triple H about the possibility of him taking over the title role in writer-director John Milius' long-planned sequel, King Conan: Crown of Iron.

In the video interview, Triple H acknowledged that he's been approached for the part and that his pal Milius is also working another project (Jornada Del Muerto) meant to be a vehicle for him.

"That's an awesome franchise. I'd love to get involved with it if they want me to. It'd be a thrill," Triple H said of Conan, but cautioning that "we'll see what happens."

Triple H has read a draft of the script and "I thought it was great. I think John Milius is an incredible writer. He knows how to create characters and storylines. I'd be honored to work with him."

For more of what Triple H had to say, check out The IESB!
