Condensation inside heater

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That's good to know, I may switch to Aqueon Pro; if that's the case
I didn't realize the Aqueon Pro's had a Lifetime Warranty. I guess I should have got a replacement a couple of years ago when one of their 300 watt heaters got stuck on and boiled an entire tank of Paracyprichromis nigripinnis (breeding colony) and numerous fancy plecos.

Yes it had full lifetime warranty no questions asked...I just got a full replacement for free. The person in question asked me how long ago I bought it and told him a long time ago and he asked if I had a receipt and I said no. He told me take the cord and cut it in half and take pics and show me. I did that and I got a replacement. I used that heater as a backup and when my jager ebo had condensation in it I took it out but the aqueon never worked.

So yeah the PRO series has lifetime warranty not sure about other products they make.

That is what I am starting to think. It is unlikely that I would have 2 leaky heaters in a row.

The PRO series you can't see the condensation even if it has it so no more issues LOL! Lifetime warranty on it and it maybe pricer but amazon has it for cheaper than all stores.
I would use the heater until you get a new one. Its really up to you the PRO series has GREAT reviews and the glass ones are sub par when I researched it. Like it can crack the condensation and so on. You can have a Midas thrash this and it won't break.
