Hi there
My Curupira is doing very well so far.
I have a question about keeping it together with maybe 1.2 Cichlasoma festae:
- Possible or anyway bad idea ?
- What Tank size would be necessary ?
Thanks in advance
Thomas
I would not. IME festae grow rather slow and that could be an issue, my curupira on the other hand grew pretty quickly. IME with wolves they are not all that aggressive BUT are very capable.
Their dentition alone give them an advantage over most other species and that can be bad news if they are bothered. Aggressive CA/SA cichlids will likely challenge your curupira and that could end badly at any point. IMO those species are not a good tankmate for your curupira.
I do keep my curupira with a WC oscar and they seem to do well. My curupira doesnt really show much aggression to my oscar and they are in a small 125 gal at the moment.
