Yeah did some research and read that fancy guppies are inbred so much it all depends on how lucky you are on whether or not they survive

Yeah, after working in the industry, stay the F away from common livebearers.

Knife, have you seen JK47's swordtail? That thing won't die lol.

I have a tarantula that I bought in middle school on a whim. It's still there; it will not die. I sometimes forget about her for months at a time, and then it's like, "Crap! I haven't fed her in months!" but she won't die.

Tarantulas have incredibly slow metabolisms and can go for months without food, but they need water regularly. I have heard of stories of tarantulas surviving for a year without food. They are hands down the easiest and coolest looking pets to take care of

You only feed him once a week? Geeze how is he alive? I forgot to feed my betta for two days and he died. And no he didn't have any diseases. I had him for months and took great carer of him. Besides you know.. forgetting to feed him that one time lol.

I witnessed a betta stored in a jar in a storage shed for 6 months with no food or water changes. Swear to jeebuz. Some fish seem to be able to live in extreme circumstances.

Ok so I keep big tanks and big fish but have always been fascinated with what I call flitter fish. Those that grow no bigger than 2 inches or so.

This is a 65g that I have in my living room that has a whole bunch of various flitter fish.

The coolest fish in this is a gold neon that is albino color except for a blue flash on the side and bright blue eyes.

Now the real secret of this tank is what I just put in last week. Now in the week that it has been in this tank it has shall we say caused some issue which the tank inhabitants being so small can do nothing about except to swim real fast.

My secret fish.

Though I am actually going to turn a 140g into a neon/cardinal tank :)

He is a sad little person that cannot cope with the circumstance of being banned from a site....

Actually I am truly finding the antics and outbursts very funny.

You guys as mods have your ban hammer at the optimum setting tonight eh!

To the op,

I forgot to mention that I am always looking in the feeder tanks to see if there are any odd looking or nice looking fish and I have various ones in other tanks that have been given a place to grow old and die in.
