Think we got some time before that. I did not today the one I am calling a female her mouth appendages (not sure what they are called) are much larger then the males
 
so update. I think I do indeed have a pair. MY very even tempered male pike has turn into a bit of bastard. He pretty much took out my group of clouded archers and roughed up some others. Furthermore the whole tank seems on edge and avoiding him. Have also found him a couple of with his snout up to the source of the water but no bubbles. I think things are progressing nicely but a little quicker then expected. Not sure exactly what I am going to do but have some finish in the tank that I really don't want to loose. I am considering moving her to a different tank and reuniting when I do some upgrades, which should be in the relatively near future.

Might have to put it on hold. Pretty much lost my group of large clouded archers to them. If they go after the panda uaru or some of the other fish in this tank they might end up spending some time apart.
