how many of these can you stuff in one tank!
i would love to have one, or two, but i only got a 30g, is that at all big enough?
and are they tough to care for?

WOW you pix are so clear...... I used to have a total of 4 congicus 2 of the more yellow pale and 2 of the darker colored ones. I sold the darkers one. I personally like the pale yellowish color it stands out better with my group of endlies...

Anyway bro i gotta say you take some nice arse pics bro......

they are easy to care for, and hardy, but sorry, 30g is not big enough for these guys. in fact, it's borderline minimum for the smallest species of bichirs.

thanks again eman! yeah i like the yellowish ones too, and i like it when the whole body is yellowish and especially when it shows no (or very very faded) stripings.

I also notice out of my two congicus that one stays a lighter yellow (biggest of the two), and the other is... yellow base, but at times gets either a darker shade yellow, or lighter "more pale" yellow. Never gets as vibrant or vivid as the larger one.
