My little Kamfa has that nice short face too. That feature (and the tail's) are what make Kamfa and Kamalau my favorites.

Got a SB sunfish too. In a pond now. Riddled with asymmetry.

I figure examples of what to avoid are just as good as examples of well-made fish, right? He was a rescue.

Look closer
There is some compaction for sure, not as strong as it could be. But his right eye is bigger than his left and it's white inside, he only has an earflap on one side, his tail grew in like a blob and you can see the thickness in his "shoulder" area, too. His back is also far more arched than it should be. Looks more obvious in person, to be honest. But he is a defect museum all the way.
