I may consider parting with a few Chris, unsure of when and to whom. I'll probably grow most of them out for as long as possible and then decide what to do.

I might be interested in one if I can find the money. Right now the name of the game for me is:

A. Fix up and get running the 130 gallon tank I got for free
B. Look for suitable females for breeding. I have 2 of my 3.5 flowerhorn I know are male.

The one male I have been trying to breed is almost fully faded and is now larger than the female. Her tube looks like it might be starting to drop so hopefully I will some progress in a week. Another male shortbody I picked as a B-Day present for me is awesome. Hes only about 2.5" and already has a nice kok. Whats funny is I had him in tank with the female parrot and he started shaking his head trying to court her. I don't think he will be as coin shaped as my fader.

Very nice, your collection is really growing. Just you wait til you do own a compatible (fry producing) pair. You'll have more than enough females to choose from then, you'll be bloody over run with them lololol!

Have you considered getting some female bp's or kkp's from petzone Chris? At worst you'll get parrots or killins from that cross.

I know, the waiting game sucks. That would be awesome if they laid them on Sunday, happy B-day me.

So far I have 3 shortbody and the kilin. What sucks is last night the bonsai fader knocked down the barrier and attacked the kilin so hes a little beat up but not nearly as bad as my trimac. I had to move them in the tank because the of an ich outbreak.

Thats what I wanted to do was parrot crosses but I have been holding out for a local one. I have been trying to hold off till I got the tank fixed because as soon as I have fry, they get their own tank and I didn't want to cram too many fish in the other 55 and the 75.

I may try my big fh with an escondido female if I don't sell him. Just a notion as yet, not sure thats what I want.

I really want sb texas to be the main focus and then just one large tank devoted solely to growing out a few choice oddballs, knife fish, bichirs etc.

Sold that one a while back.
