don't click threads you don't like

Simplified version lol

I would like to see you post more and share more of your knowledge. MFK is fine the way it is.

There's always more than one way to skin a cat. And one reseal thread might lack info that another pertains. I don't think it's an attention issue. It's being an active member and sharing.

While you might think that about cichlids. Cichlid owners might think the same about whatever fish you keep. Everyone has their right to they're own opinion. And a right not to double click on a thread/sub forum.

Yeah I agree. I really don't like Pbass. Their just not my thing, they look weird plus everyone owns one. I don't want to own what everyone else does. That's just my opinion though. I keep scrolling when I see a post about them, simple as that.

Also agree with the resealing a tank part too. When I resealed my 55, I looked at a few threads to get the gist of it. Some were extremely vague while others were awesome with pics and everything. It's nice to be able to search and see a few different ways to get something done.

But a Leptobarbus and Balantiocheilos, and Labeois are cyprinids and your Pangasius are catfish and the barbs fit into other if you whining now you would have hated here last year before forum update.

Funny the things that people complain about. I personally enjoy unwinding and wasting some time scrolling through things. Oftentimes you may see someone do something in a completely different way, plus like said, you dont like it, dont go in there. You have to pretty much go to cichlid section to see them. I agree with some of what you said, but other points are just stupid. Wish we all could have a 500g in 2 days with a builder...good call.

I've been in this hobby for the past 25 years. I've learned more in the last 5 years, due to sites like this, than I've ever learned. Where else can you post a pic of an obscure species and in 10 minutes have 20 replies to what it is and how to keep it. For the most part people here are civil and have a genuine love for fish. What else can you ask for. Oh yea its also FREE!!!!!!

Well by now he has 'moved on'

well good riddance than egotistical prick

MFK is always evolving and adapting. Generally it seems new forums/sub forums are added as traffic warrants. In the future there may be a time where the catfish subforum evolves into different categories. Just in the last year or so flowerhorns and loaches each got their own forum and I'm sure there will be many more changes in the future.

I do look at post counts among other things when determining how valid the advise given may be. Just because the post count is high, doesn't necessarily mean the advise is good though
