they are best kept in a colony.. you can add a few non aggressive fish as long as your tank is large enough.. they like hard freshwater

i do add aquariam salt to my african tanks.. not much but enough to make them feel good and stay healthy.. just add it when i do water changes.. it is not a must it is just good for them...

Yes just a little aquarium salt makes them feel like their in Lake Malawi ...

how many full grown fronts do u think would live in a 100gallon, and what do you think on Zambian Frontosa. i dont hear of them often

they are fresh water .. they come from Lake malawi .. they thrive in somewhat hard water..
