those red hooks are still going strong here...

I am very glad to hear that  I knew they'd be in good hands.

Okay, Here are two older shots: The first two when life was still good (January), the others after a massive plant death after a waterchange (March) followed by six red hook silver dollars (August) who helped themselves to the free salat bar It has grown back since I got rid of them this summer, but it is not back complately

my old wolf [...] if could not eat it he would take some lumps out of it so i dont thing the size of the G's will help them:naughty:

Yup, you're right. The swordtails were gone within a few days, and although he gets (and eats) beefheart, he started to snack on the gouramis. As my wife saw the bloody cuts his teeth left behind (no chunks missing, yet), I had to "rescue" the poor fish into the quarantine tank :nilly: On a positive side, I may be able to tell her that the quarantine tank is too small and that we need another big tank for the poor poor gouramis.

ps
I have to say that I agree with her that it is cruel to have fish snacked on over a prolonged period of time. Sudden Death of small fish by a single gulp is one thing, suffering another. Once the wolf is big enough to eat the gouramis with a single bite, though ... .... ... ... ...
