he does get a lot of crap. and i deal it out too. he doesn't deserve it all, i know that, but you can't blame it on his mom passing away. my parents just seperated (they are actually doing it now), i some how i manage to keep my tank clean, and nicely stocked. i know losing a parent is much worse than seperation, but neither really have anything to do with fish keeping (unless your parents clean your tank)

I think there is a HUGE difference between your parents seperating and one of them dieing. I really feel no remorse for you that say its the same thing. My parents seperated and yes, it sucked at first. But you get used to it because in the long run you still have both of them.

u guys carried on like a bunch of 5 yr oldz. grow up. this site is about monster fish , tanks but most importantly its an aquatic community and just ecause his tank doesnt have expensive sand or 200 dollar peices of wood does not make it bad. if thats what he wants then let it be. be positive about things. i mean imo his tank was not the prettiest i have seen but to me ( definently not a cichlid expert) his fish looked good. and instead of saying doesnt cut it perhaps give himsum diy tips such as getting garvel from landsapers colleting own driftwood and dtones and how to get driftwood to sink.

I like CB, he's a nice guy. I feel for him too, even though I've never lost a parent. Plenty of my friends have lost either their mom or dad, and I know what kind of an impact it has on you. He's in a bad situation too, and if I lived closer I would seriously help him out. Right now I think the best we can do for him is support him no matter what.
how about when i get home from work i will open the thread deleted and infract for each post taking the micky out of CB, hopefully for those that posted they only posted once as you only get so many infractions before a temp ban and i WILL infract for each of them.
