Convict cichlid pair - 15 gallon

Should be good for a while, they are slow growers. The main concern is agression. You could try dividing the tank if it gets bad though.

No fighting currently,planning to grow them out as much as i can in the 15 and rehome or upgrade them to a larger tank(hopefully)

When they put on a bit more size, they may be able to be in the tank with the syn before you can get it back to your friend.

for 7 months they should fine just feed lightly and do waterchanges when nitrate gets to 20ppm.

been doing water changes twice a week ,and the tank is planted to help with the nitrates.

The syn is currently in a 65 by itself,the 33 gallon meant for the con pair is now occupied by my flowerhorn
