convict has gone weird

Just wondering whats wrong, I fed my convict today and he/she just started scratching up against everything and going nuts, he/she is only a baby haven't seen him/her do it before and I'm wondering if there is something wrong?

tank size its 45 gallon, no tank mates and i fed it some frozen packed cichlid food from the store which it has been LOVING since i first got it

Might have triggered breeding mode.

One day I changed the water in my red devil tank, dropped some frozen krill in immediately after and he started humping the glass. He had his wiener out and was going to town. It went on for about an hour.

um never and he seems fine now so maybe he just went crazy because of food
