okay so i know i have a male and a female but is it a problem that the female is bigger thanj the male and why wont the female lay eggs ive been changing the water everday for like a week and i have the temp at 81 degrees... nay ideas i tried salt... but just no good

patience is the key, if you want you can get one more male, and female. Do the pair have any tankmates?

no tankmates they are all by themselves but the female has paired up once but the male died will she still lay eggs

also i had another female to let him choose but they ganged up and attacked it so i took it out?

add some plants maybe, or you can add some blackwater extract or almond leave.

just wait a bit...i have heard that it is almost impossible to keep them from breeding. So maybe hold off on the w/c for a week and then do a ~30% w/c with cool water and see what happens.

i have like this colleseum thing in the tank do you think that or a peice of pvc is better i mean they stay in the colleseum all day... is there anyway to tell wen they are going to lay eggs?

get rid of the coliseum, and add some clay pots

aight would pvc be okay or clay pots and which way should i face them
