This is the best part of having a new breeding pair of cons... well at least for me it is... this is when you learn if your going to be getting some Pink Cons :D once they hit about 1/4 - 1/2" they will either start to get their stripes in proper or you have some that look albino (they are actually Pink Convicts) I have 2 breeding pairs of Cons that produce Pinks and their Babies sell out on Kijiji and Craigslist in Hours :D Keeps me in spare change for Fish food for months :D

I read the title of the thread real fast and thought it said,"convict locked up"congrats on da babies to come

SWEET!! Is it possible that mine could have pink cons because the mom & dad are both striped??????????

its depends if the parents of ur convicts may have been pink or not.

exactly!... I didn't know that mine were but have learned that they had Pink Mothers... and I happened to get mine from Craigslist as juvi's all of them were striped... so when they started breeding WHAM Half of the babies were Pinks :D

2 weeks! i've had mine for a week and a half and they are just starting to not look for tadpoles. there still tiny though

so i took aaaaall my fish out except the 5 convicts (not including the 70-80 babies) & an 8 in pleco & 2 little zebra danios. i traded my bullhead cat for store credit =( & gave away my other cats and ck.

now i want to get one of those seperater things so these ho's will keep makin babies!! the babies i have now are about a week & a half or 2 weeks old and they still look like little tadpoles with a stripe.

ill post pics soon i promise
