Convicts liplocking???

Its not a 10 gallon its a 125 gallon.. I have a whole bunch of pvc pipe I am gonna put some smaller ones in there so they have somewhere to hide where the Texas cant get at them.

And I think they are spawning.. the female is digging a pit behind one of the decals in the back... *fingers crossed*

I may just take out the convicts and put them in the 30 gallon I have... but I dont know if the Oscar is big enough to hold his own against my big bad texas....

If she's digging and they are together ... Don't change anything.... Let them do their thing for a week.. have they established any cave or shelter?

If they are different sex and water in the tank.... they will breed..
the main thing I would worry about is what to do with the babies, because they will breed every 2 weeks....

They took over the corner in the back.. but shes digging in the middle.


Jsfunk - my problem is that I've had these convicts for months and not one batch.

I want them to breed so I can have some "clean" feeders for my other fish. I will have to wait and see.. I'll give them a week.. only problem is that I need to do a water change!!!
