Thats probably a 37 gallon tank. It should be more than enough for your convicts.

My pair of convicts:
1st picture is of the paired off cons.
2nd pix is the male.
3rd pix is the female...note the orange/red sides of her belly.
4th pix is the other female that the male con now "hooked" up with. She's getting fat...a good sign. Hopefully soon she'll be laying the eggs.

Well might keep the cons I was able to get a tank from a coworker size is L30x24Hx12W dose anybody know what gallon tank this is? Can I keep the cons and a Oscar in there?


Edit: Just looked at the cons in the 20g and I am sure they have ick can you do the salt treatment with heat with them as well? I had 3 mollies in the 20g for the last 3+ weeks with no sign of ick they ate well and were very active..

would be considered a 40 but is aroudn 37 galons.. however I would keep the 20 g set up and afgter the babies hatch and grow about an 8th to a quarter inch I would remove them so the parents will start over again

When breeding for feeders you want a nice turn over rate in my opinion and more than one grow out tank

how do we talk about something else on a thread when i am asking a question that no one will answer.. Can you treat ick on cons with heat(86degrees) and salt 1tsp for every 5g? Also nice pick I hope i can have eggs as well once my fish are health..
