Cons are so underrated, even by me. I never post up pics of my breeding pair, even though I think they're one of the most gorgeous fish I own. So, here's a couple I took quickly tonight.

I love convicts! My male is the best. he now has solid stripes. (which is crazy if you seen my pics)
I'm in the same boat...I love my pair, but I don't want all the fry they produce. So, I just leave things alone. Every few weeks, they'll spawn, and raise the babies for a week or two. When they're ready to spawn again, if I haven't removed the previous batch, they eat them to make room for the new ones. They're happy doing what they do best, I get to enjoy them without a million little cons everyone. Occasionally they'll let one or two survive to grow up, but I just feed them to one of the Midas.
