lol. I FINALLY found something before you. lol Ur rays are awesome, let me live a little lol
Then what exactly were you suggesting? I said that if he's planning to upgrade in the future, then do it. It's a good price for a nice ray. I contribute to all sections and will continue to do so. Chris, have the wifey buy it for you lol.

I agree with you totally, an upgrade will be needed, I am just generalizing.
Most people when it comes to Schroederi are of the opinion the ray will grow to massive proportions, I am simply asking people to post their monster Flowers, its a long standing debate, if this can be proven that they really do get to this size then they are simply not suitable for anything other than public aquaria. I am not saying they do or they don't, I'm just curious, If it is proven they do then surely that will help Takenotes to make the correct decision .
Having kept and bred various Potamotrygon over a 40 year period I have never seen any that grew any larger than say a Leopoldi in domestic aquariums.
We'll chalk it up to a misunderstanding. No hard feelings man. I'm sure there are some monsters out there and I'd love to see them as well.

As a owner of a 15-16" male tiger in a 36" wide tank, I would say only do it if he is the only one you have until you upgrade. My tiger touches the front and back at the same time when turned sideways. Tigers and flowers are aggressive and do not take to hanging with other Pot. rays unless they have space. If you have any other ray in that tank with the flower it will more than likely get the fire bit out of it (the other ray). I have kept 3 flowers in the past and they all love to bite. Only one way to find out so if you cannot resist, just be ready to separate or move to another tank if a fight breaks out.
Thanks Jay, will do.
I am getting it tonight. Coordinating everything now, will post pics tonight when I get home. Also have alot of changes that have occured in my tank in the past week so I will update you guys on that as well. A few fish leaving my tank and a few fish coming in.
