Cool ideas for a small tank

How about a fancy guppy, shrimp, neon, bumble bee gobies- go with the gobies, their cool little fish...

mhmm, i totally saw some bumblebee gobies the other day, they are the CUTEST things ever. like, 1-2 cm long. and really relaxed. you could get quite a few in there.

i had a dwarf puffer in a 2.5, but it died. not for lack of space tho, unexplained phenomenon. course they claim 5 gallons for each dwarf, but really... just make sure it's well planted.

Killifish! Many species of killies will breed in a tank that size. Just watch for jumpers.

How about something odd? Frank's aquarium (in the buy and sell) carries vampire shrimp and rusty crabs, one of either of those would be cool for a desk top.

I have a 5g mini planted with a german ram and a straggler glow light tetra its one of my nicest tanks also have a 1gal laying around i want to make a super mini planted with 4 neons and no filter

You might be able to get a pair of paradise gouramis in there. They are air breathers, so don't require much on flitration.

Another choice owuld be maybe a pair of small gobies- there are a few kinds that only get an inch or so. And there are Burmese mini (cats less than an inch armoured catfish)- if you are interested, I can tell you who has those(on-line)
