Cool/Rare sighting off Panama City Beach!

They were telling him to swim with it. Its a harmless basking shark. I grabbed the dorsal fin of a whale shark about 24-26ft in length out there once.

Although it might have been harmless, I'm sure the kayaker had to change his undies when he got home...

i doubt it's 3 times larger than you

more like 5 or 6

i mean harmless in that if you jumped in and swam with it, you probably won't get harmed, unless you are alergic to saltwater
 
Its a basking shark which has no teeth and feeds only on plankton. A human is a bit bigger then what is on its regular menu.

Now the yaker is lucky there werent cobia swimming under the shark or else there would have been a barrage of 3oz jigs coming his way!
