Cool species to keep?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I will look into servals as well. ;)

I was thinking some arachnids also, maybe some goliath bird eaters, red rump trants, pink knee, ect, ect.

Anything is on the table really, I was looking at some leuistic (sp?) sugar gliders also.

Maybe a Coatimundi, short tailed opposum, flying squrriels, the skies the limit...well that and the bank account. :p

More ideas people!

Goliath birdeaters are not the way to start if you haven't tried tarantulas. A gorgeous species to work with would be the Brazilian black (Grammostola pulchra).

I've talked to people who've worked with coatimundis, and they generally have a reputation of being mean and smelly.

Alright, I will take that under consideration. An exnay on the coatimundi then, my four ferrets have their own scent that smells up my room, and they are all descented!

More ideas?

I had a short tailed opposum and he was really cool but my goodness I had to clean that cage the second he crapped or the entire basement would stink. Imo their odor is a lot worse than ferrets.
