alright just got the dorm tank set up want to impress people SHOOT! so far i just have 3 neon tetras and 3 black neon tetras in it so something compatible with those fish

I'd drop the tetras go brackish and
get some dwarf puffers for the cool factor

would 1 ram really bother my fish though? how aggresive are they, i really don't have any caves avaliable for them to hide in but i have a lot of plant cover

They aren't that aggersive i had one in a 6 gal when i was first starting fish keeping all he would need is a small pot that u can get from lowes...

Try some Black Ruby barbs. The males are stunning as adults.

Well, you can't have brackish and keep dwarf puffers at the same time. I'd keep it fresh, add the dwarf puffer and cross your fingers he doesn't beat up the little dither fish.

Or add some moth catfish. They are supreme among the small cats.
