COOLEST LOOKING TEXAS CICHLID

Well thats pretty cool I bought this guy at 2'' labeled Green Texas and paid less then 8 bucks for it,
We picked it out from whole bunch of them because it was prettier. No Idea of any information,
We called back and asked them where they get their Texas and they only buy online with batches
of about 50 and they go through a number of wholesalers. He has mated with the female posted
above and we have a ton of babies now raising out more then 50 or so over 1''.

Dude all you have is a regular texas its not a red texas most of these people are filling you full of crap do your research i have owned, raised, sold, and cross bred and currently have a female texas paired with a male dovii that have fry and about the look of the texas not all of them show spawning colors in fact when i had a male texas with a convict i didn't know they spawned until there were fry as of their pearls they range from delicate small pearls that don't cover its whole face to big pearls from mouth to fin like the escondido and the pearls range from bright blue to pale green and they will have tiny red tips on each spine of the dorsal fin so yeah the people who told you that it was a unfaded red texas their idiots and don't even know what their lookn at and they probably couldn't even tell you the difference between a black convict and a honduran red point
for sure not a red texas or hybrid i have too much experience with texas to be a fool like some of these jokers nothing unusual about your texas looks almost like my male that i had a couple months ago that paired off with a blood red parrot unfortunately the male dovii tried to kill em both take it from me you have texas if you want red texas breed them to anything from blood parrots to rose queens and remember that only about 5 % to 15 % will fade on the first batch if any of em fade at 2 to 6 inches then you'll have to line breed for red color and pearl type
Get this clown out of here with his 2 posts. It sounds like you don't know what u have with all this crossing ur claiming ur doing. Did you in fact breed the OP's fish? If not then give your OPINION and keep it moving. Do you know what an unfaded RT even looks like? How bout you stick to your petsmart fish breeding program and fill the world with ur worthless fish.

your so funny i worked for petsmart when i was younger get real anything from petsmart would be feeders for my tank get real get real dude iv'e owned 6 texas while iv'e been in the hobby 3 of witch were breeders where the hell do you come off you have a pic of a green terror really dude don't even go there iv'e done salt and fresh from grey carpet anemones to panther groupers and rainbow fish to cichla teminsis what do you have on me not a damn thing shut the hell up
