I had a serious question here, you acting like this is not helping anyone..... whether your information is valid or not that does not give you any reason to correct anyone else. I find it hilarious that you would first respond attacking anyone elses opinions. This is not what this site is designed for ,showing you only have three posts maybe you do not know etiquette, leave your comments else where if you do have valid information maybe think twice about how you approach your information given to people.
This is not Facebook you do not defend yourself with accredibility, simply state your opinion based on facts and facts alone. Thank you for your feed back but you have approached this entirely the wrong way

and what you have is a texas with the red genes this fish would have been discarded in the the making of a red texas so i'm guessing over 3 inches and no signs of fading and won't fade should've got a bitter pic of the batch hope your payed for that cause theres no way in hell i would have

To everyone else, whether this is a Red Texas or not im coming to the conclusion this is a hybrid of some sort. I would love further input or debate on which this guys linage might be from. I came here to seek information and classification for my own personal use. I simply wanted to know your general thoughts maybe some insight on what this guy might be and so fourth. My personal opinion we believed it to possibly be mixed with a festae or flowerhorn or something to that nature given the spot on the tail is so large. This is just a thought given the resemblance. I havent seen a pure texas look like this in my experience and given that he is breeding with a female we would also like a little input on maybe what we could expect with their offspring.

Thank you everyone

I bought this guy labeled as a green texas........... I wasnt trying for this, we noticed this one just simply looks different then my others. I paid $8.00 as a 2'' green texas mixed in a tank with over 100 cichlids

So that explains it all. You were brought up on petsmart fish and now your mind is corrupt on what's a quality fish or not. I'm sure your the only person on MFK that's owned that MANY Texas cichlids let alone 3 breeders. You sound like a moron. As for the GT in my avatar, I'm sure you've never seen one so breathtaking. Again another explanation of how little you know about fish. You're quick to put down a fish Just because they're common. I would love to see pics of your rare Dovi or the other unattainable fish you've mentioned. I guess as long as you can say you've owned fish makes you such an experienced guru. I'm going to go buy an ocean. That will mean I have experience in all salt water fish. Then I'll buy some lakes and I'll be the master of the universe. Unless you already are. Get a clue buddy you sound like a tard.

If not then give your OPINION and keep it moving. Do you know what an unfaded RT even looks like? How bout you stick to your petsmart fish breeding program and fill the world with ur worthless fish.
