But in all reality, I wouldn't even bother with either species with such a small tank, IMO.

peacocks don't look that interesting, alot of people have them on this site.
with the largemouth atleast you have something different. I think the peacocks get bigger and look pretty ugly when there small.

bass will still out grow the tank.

You should be able to find cichla easily around FL...

ive always wanted cichla but i dont have the tank space to care for them properly. ill trust you will do the rite thing if you want that fish

i wouldnt even consider any cichla for a 30 gal, they will outgrow it so fast, average growth rate of a pbass is an inch a month..... thats like making a full grown person live in a shrinking closet
