Copadichromis Borleyi

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
There is one variant that has extremely long ventral fins. I always liked them in the pictures i have seen. I think yours is a very nice red finned borleyi. (kandango)

yeah what you said actually is very right, my gf bought 5x 2-3" Frontosas yesterday and since then the Borleyi are much more out :)

Glad that worked. They are too pretty to be hiding all the time..

I guess you found your answer about their comfort with them breeding so fast. They are beautiful fish, and deserve that beautiful planted tank. I wouldn't add too many fish to that tank. Too much traffic may be rough on the plants, and that is a great planted tank.

My girlfriend decided to strip the female, she has been keeping the eggs/fry for 22 days and was getting worried about the fry since the other female was getting aggressive towards the "pregnant" one.
She did a great job and 9 beautiful fry came out. They were pretty big or ~1cm/0.5" but maybe thats just a normal size for mouthbrodders.
So now she is gonna raise these 9x F1 Borleyi´s :D
