Copadichromis Borleyi

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
beautiful setup and great looking fish! youve done a great job with them all!

thanks all :)

now the fry are 3months+1week old and i was wondering how big they would have to be to be able to go back in the main tank with the parents ?
The parents are ~4" and the fry ~1.5"

a week old pic of the fry, they are sharing a grow-out tank with some Jaguars (which will soon be bigger, thats why i want to move the Borleyis)

beautiful and job well done.:headbang2

thank you, yes the owner is very happy with it :)
The tank is a bit crowded at the moment, i put 8 small Jack Dempsey´s in the tank for a few days because we were moving but my girlfriend liked them so much that we will have them there for a little longer.
Also 4 small Frontosa´s growing up there.
The JD and Fronts are all smaller then the F0 Borleyi´s

But we moved the 8 Borleyi fry back in with the parents!
Look great together and the bigger fish are not bothering them.

the fry are now 2"+ and some of the bigger ones are getting yellow coloring in the middle of their body (see pic)... does this indicate that they are getting the male colors ?
