Just to explain, I used to cut the cubes down as you suggested, but cut my finger when the knife slipped LOL. After that, I decided it wasn't worth it. I've never worried about bacteria, because the food is frozen, but then it thaws and stays cold, plus it's in the refrigerator, and I eat food out of there, so I just never thought about that. It is in a small plastic container with an airtight lid. In any case, thanks for your help. Your welcome sorry you got cut I usually cut my cubes on a cutting board to prevent slipping and try to keep my fingers clear cause I have to many scars to show how not to cut the cubes lol.
