Thank you for your help, Mr. Reef. I am going to pick up some selcon tomorrow.

Just to explain, I used to cut the cubes down as you suggested, but cut my finger when the knife slipped LOL. After that, I decided it wasn't worth it. I've never worried about bacteria, because the food is frozen, but then it thaws and stays cold, plus it's in the refrigerator, and I eat food out of there, so I just never thought about that. It is in a small plastic container with an airtight lid. In any case, thanks for your help.

We went to Richmond today, but I couldn't find any Selcon. I ordered some online, though.

Also, we purchased a grounding kit for the tank. No stray voltage shows up on the voltage meter, but we can't properly ground the one end, because our house is sixty years old, so there's still some question as to those results. Well, we could, but the cord is way too short to get to where we need it to be.

Either way, better safe than sorry. I'm going to buy a bunch of copper wire tomorrow and run it so that we can install the grounding kit. Hopefully, one or both of these will work. I just wanted to update!

Could everyone stop with the colored letter game on my thread about my sick fish? It just seems rude, and it makes me feel that the problems I'm having with this fish aren't being taken seriously.

Anyway, I'd like to update with some more photos. We have run a titanium grounding probe to the tank and attached it to a grounded copper wire that was run during the upgrade to our electrical box and installation of central heat and air. I have been using the Selcon for about sixteen days.

Here are some photos. It seems to be getting worse.
