Make sure no agresive tankmates are around when hatching
Thanks for the info. I'm only worried about the snowflake eel. He's about 12" long & a 1" in diameter. Plan on keeping him in something to make sure he's eating good and get some size on him before i release him into DT.

Be patient and don't disturb it. It should hatch when the egg sac has been absorbed.
I'm not just wondering because I want to catch it hatch because i have a snowflake eel that could eat it him at such a small size.

It's been over a week since shark yolk sac has depleted & shark has not hatched yet. I want to cut the shark out before it dies of starvation. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. ( shark is well formed & tomorrow is 7 wks I've had the egg. )
