FW will only shock them enough to have the adults drop off the fish. As soon as you put them back in a contaminated system, they will be exposed to it again - and break out shortly after.
Thanks zoo, do you think coral RX would kill the cysts? If not I will eventually want to trade this frag (it will have upwards of six adult heads soon, which will just be too much) so how could I get the cysts off?
Looks like I will have to give the fish some if my raw dinner every night lol. They are looking good, been feeding them raw prawns, formula one, mysis, and freeze dried all soaked in selcon. I am also very happy the puffer finally ground his second tooth down, he looked like a kid that just lost one if their front teeth .
Copper needs to be brought up to the proper level slowly, or it will kill everything. That being said, it won't kill off your aerobic (good) bacteria. Just be aware the copper is absorbed by the rock and substrate, so there will be trace amounts of it for a long time. It will prevent the introduction of coral/inverts in the future.
