coralife super skimmer???

I hung the 125 model on the side of my 55g.

Can't put one on the side unfortunately. This tank has a tight fitting glass hood because of the eel. If the hood is open the least bit the moray will find his way out
Otherwise we would have loved to put our super skimmer on the side. As of now it's just sitting there doing nothing.

Looks like you're going to have to rig up a stand up skimmer or get a sump for one.
