I just got a text asking where can you get these? As to answer some questions, here it goes.....

These are not a dime a dozen.... they don't come cheap......they ARE expensive....... platinums are now more expensive than they were years ago because there is s higher demand in certain Asian countries, mainly/notably Japan and China. .... they are willing to pay a premium and so most (ie 95%) platinum bichirs and short bodies go to Asian countries....... with the higher demand across seas and with very expensive shipping costs and associated fees, we rarely see these fish in the US, let alone "high quality" platinums..... yes the sellers/dealers in Indonesia/Singapore have a grading system for platinum bichirs (and short bodies) based on headshape, color base (intensity of white/platinum on fish), etc.....

Having a handful does not mean they are now cheaper to acquire, actually it's quite the opposite..... I had to save lots to acquire these ....... I am not selling ANY of these fish.... this is something I have always wanted since falling in love with bichirs.... I will though share with everyone here as they grow and flourish..... one day joining my other monster bichirs.......

Damn! really nice pieces!

Thanx brother. :)

Last pic for February 2015. On top is a short body endli, middle (blurry) is a platinum endli, and on bottom is part of my AmericaN HorroR ShoW project which includes very oddballish/defective pieces..... i know this isn't for everyone.... but I LIKE.
