Dude...........AWESOME. How long does it take for bichirs to grow that big? Mines about 6 inches maybe.

Thanx Joe. I have not raised these bichirs myself. Got most of them at 12"s or larger.....but in my limited experience, to maximize growth potential, you need clean water, good varied diet, and keep stress on the low side. In general some species grow faster than others....... but within each species many a times growth depends on the individual specimen. For example I bought two farahna endlis at the same time, same size, yet one has grown 2"s in 5 months and the other has grown 4"s.
I'll make a thread of my bichir collection in about a month or two once all the bichirs have settled in. Thanx.
