Ok you want to spend thousand and thousands one some of the nices rays on the planet and worried about the cost of a filter and feeding them? Sketchy....
 
And why just massivore? Not thats its bad, but my ray likes all types of seafood more and goes nuts for worms
 
where I am it is legal to own rays. already checked. what do you mean by pressurized sponge filters?

That's what I am talking about there, its very different from the ones your thinking of. Yeah those are cheap but they are never going to provide enough filtration for your rays. If your going to spend between $4k and $8k on a pair of BDs you might as well spend a bit on filtration to I would think.
 
guys he is 16 years old, unless he won the lottery or his parents spoil him big time... I dont think he will be getting a BD
 
Sponge filters do have thier place but they will never keep up with the waste in a ray tank.
 
I would invest in some good filtration and buy some bdxleo's in sacrafice for spending the extra money on the filtration...
 
I could do that pond filter. what do you mean by tea cup rays?
